The Reflection 2, Omer Tosun

The Reflection 2, Omer Tosun
The reflection is a 50x70 oil painting on canvas.
The figurative part of the work is composed of Tardigrat and Butterfly.
Tardigrats (Aquatic bears) are a microscopic and invertebrate species that is rather durable, not larger than the head of a full-length needle.
They can have tardigras everywhere they are watered. They have the characteristic of cryptobiozis. They can wait for 100 years to take pause for the moment of life
They are incredible creatures that can withstand deadly radiation levels for humans and temperatures ranging from 1 K (-458 ° F to -272 ° C) to about 420 K (300 ° F; 150 ° C).
Butterflies have features that can be tried against the tardigraphy in terms of structure. The fragility is the expression of purity, fragility, vitality and desire to change in the soul. When the blue color and the butterfly are together, the change within the time indicates the need to be sensed, but at the same time it is constrained by some reason. These constraints are mostly internal constraints. We are afraid of change or we do not want to think about what the people around us ...
I can summarize this art as 'reflection of each individual who wants to change in a stronger direction by tearing his shell in his light'.
