Sandro Botticelli, Nastagio degli Onesti The Story is probably the wedding gift of Giannezzo Pucci by Lorenzo the Magnificent in 1483, The first in the series is a total of four works. They were held in Palazzo Pucci in Florence until 1868 until the sale.
The story of Nastagio degli Onesti, one of the Ravenna ascetics, is the eighth story of Giovanni Boccaccio's fifth day in Decameron. This theme was chosen to give a happy ending to a love affair.
