Sandro Botticelli, Story Of Nastagio Degli Onesti Part 3
Sandro
Botticelli, Nastagio degli Onesti The Story is probably the wedding
gift of Giannezzo Pucci by Lorenzo the Magnificent in 1483, The first in the series is a total of four works. They were held in Palazzo Pucci in Florence until 1868 until the sale.
The
story of Nastagio degli Onesti, one of the Ravenna ascetics, is the
eighth story of Giovanni Boccaccio's fifth day in Decameron. This theme was chosen to give a happy ending to a love affair. The
daughter of Paolo Traversari, who rejected the victim of Nastagio in
her, changed her mind after she was guilty of the same punishment to her
lover, the slightest punishment of another woman.
The first part of the story is located in a pine tree around Ravenna, the city where the story takes place. Nastagio is frustrated by his unabashed love and wanders alone and sadly leaving the city. Despite
Nastagio's attempts to defend himself, he is surprised that a woman and
his dogs, who are being chased by a knight, suddenly appear.
There
are some tents to the left of the Resminus that Nastagio (in the red
hose) advised his friends to leave the town for a while. Then a close-up of Nastagio is shown circulating in the forest. With
a stick, a sword and a golden armored knight, a half-naked woman,
chased by a knight, appears again with a stick that wants to fire the
dogs trying to bite.

Sandro Botticelli, Story of Nastagio degli Onesti Part 1 Paintings Story, Review and Analysis
There are three representations of Nastagio, a typical late medieval procedure, showing a sequence of consecutive stages in a painting of the stage, and a strong narrative character. The steep bodies of trees combine with a horizontal sea view in the background to form a kind of grid, and the depth has a remarkable effect. The drama combines the formal elegance of thin figures with the delicate movements of man and animals to achieve a magical postponement between fairy tale and reality. Although the four picture concepts are bound to Botticelli, the execution was partly entrusted to his assistants, especially Bartolomeo di Giovanni for the first three paintings and Jacopo da Sellaio for the fourth. It is one of the famous paintings of his artist. It reflects the perspective of the artist in terms of technique used. The same color and formality are encountered in different works. The colors, the perspective and depth leave the artist's footsteps to our imagination world.
