This work was made on cloth canvas in 2018 in 35x50 size. The painting depicts an eagle standing on the head of a Shaman. It is seen that the eagle, which has an important place in Turkish culture, is the creature believed to have descended from the first human in Altai mythology. The Eagle, who is believed to be a sky god in shamanic belief, is mostly seen as a symbol of protective spirit and justice in mythologies.
Do you have the courage, my brothers? Are you hearty? Not the courage before witnesses, but the courage of an ascetic, the courage of an eagle, which no god has ever witnessed.
I do not call cold hearts, mules, slaves, drunks brave. A brave person is one who knows fear but overcomes it, sees the abyss but looks at it with pride.
The one who sees the abyss but looks into the abyss with the eyes of an eagle, and the one who grasps the abyss with the eagle's claws, is the brave one.
