Şahmeran is the good-hearted, Shah of snakes described in Iranian, Persian and Anatolian mythologies. Inspired by our cultural richness in Anatolia, I draw descriptions on my paintings. Here I reflected the legend of Şahmeran. I also depicted the Angut birds stylized on the figure's crown as a symbol of loyalty. Technically, I used a mosaic effect on oil painting.
