While creating the sketch of this painting, I composed a composition by taking the figures in Reinhold Begas / Mercury and Psyche sculpture as a subject. I added my own style to an existing sculpture study and the "Rusty Loves" painting emerged. Thus, I turned mythological heroes into living emotional beings. Technically, it is an oil painting on cotton canvas. When looked closely, layers of paint similar to rust texture are visible. This painting, where blue and orange create a contrast as a whole, has a modern effect of 90x90 cm.
