Painting With Green Center, Wassily Kandinsky

Painting With Green Center, Wassily Kandinsky

Wassily Kandinsky's "Painting with Green Center" is a product of the artist's Abstract Art period. This artwork captures an explosion of colors; however, the dominant color in it is green which engulfs the center area. The painting technique used here involves both layering and juxtaposition of contrasting shades to achieve depth and emphasis.
Created using oil on canvas, this piece illustrates a chaotic yet harmonious arrangement of geometrical forms resembling symbols that seem to narrate an abstract story or depict some ethereal realm. These imageries manifest Kandinsky’s belief in the spiritual dimension within artworks as he was known for creating works inspired by music, portraying emotions rather than realistic objects.
While at first glance you might find yourself lost in a whirlwind of vibrant hues and enigmatic shapes - upon closer inspection you can see how meticulously each shape compliments its neighbor – demonstrating precision amidst chaos.
Art enthusiasts who fall for this one-of-a-kind masterpiece have numerous purchasing options available such as canvas prints, posters, high-resolution image downloads or even reproductions done via oil painting.

Style

Kandisky belonged to “Der Blaue Reiter” (The Blue Rider), a Munich-based art movement he co-founded that championed abstractionism over conventional artistic expressions during early 20th century Europe.
He believed his work transcended traditional visual depictions capturing not just what we observe but also 'what we feel'. Thereby equating his pieces more closely towards symphonies where composition plays as important a role as melody itself.
In "Painting with Green Center", we clearly witness his experimental approach coming into play — applying distinct touches expressing lyricism through interplay between form and non-form; concept present throughout every single brush-stroke laying ground rules for contemporary abstractionist concepts paving the way for subsequent avant-garde movements. The ethereal sense of harmony amidst chaos in this painting serves as a defining feature of Kandinsky’s signature style, securing his status amongst abstractionism's forefront pioneers.
