ESER AÇIKLAMASI: Bu çalışmamda insan oğlunun hassas dengeleri uyumlandırarak, yaşam formatına uygulayarak insan olabilmek, mutlu kalabilmek için dengelerin terazisine, sağlam tutunmasının elzem gerekliliği bu resmin ana temasını oluşturmaktadır. İnsan dengeler varlığıdır. Bu bağlamda terazinin sol kefesindeki beyin imgesi aklı, sağ kefesinde ki kalp ise ruhu betimlemektedir. Figürün elinden geçen kordon bağı ise üst kısımdaki bebek imgesin yaşamın ilk evresi olan doğumu, aşağı kısımdaki kordon bağının bitimindeki kafatası ise dünya hayatının sonlanışı olan ölümü betimlemektedir.Resimdeki figürün büründüğü beyaz çarşaf ise, doğduğumuzda ilk sarmalanan, öldüğümüzde de son olarak giydirilen kefenin bir temsilidir. Komposizyonun ana merkezini oluşturan insan figürü, resmin içindeki tüm simgelerle ilişkisi odağında, bugünü, şimdiyi, tam da şuanı yaşamanın akıl, ruh, doğum ve ölüm dengesi içinde uyumsallaştırmasını, yere koyduğu bir diziyle ve diğer ayağıyla yere sağlam basışı da insan gücünü, azmini ve erdemini göstermektedir. Kıssacası akıl ve ruhu birlikte uyum içinde kullanmak, doğumu ve ölümü kabüllenerek yaşamak, insanoğlunun hem en büyük sınavı hem de en büyük başarısıdır. 

WORK DESCRİPTİON

The white sheet in which the figure in the picture is covered is a representation of the shroud, which was first wrapped when we were born and last dressed when we died.
